During this project, we have digitized all available dialect maps by Andrus Saareste with the goal of making this data source more accessible and usable in linguistic research.
The published atlases are fully digitized (scanned, georeferenced and linked to linguistic data). The digitized maps are available as shapefiles here. The data from the atlases can also be viewed using our applications.
The unpublished manuscripts have been scanned and processed to be suitable for gallery representation.
