Last week (March 14-16), we took part in the 2nd conference of the association of Digital Humanities in the Nordic Countries (DHN) at the University of Gothenburg. The programme was very exciting and gave us a lot of new insights. It is also somewhat comforting to learn that the challenges with developing digital humanities are universal. We also had a chance to present our project yet again and to discuss the possibilities related to using R and GIS in humanities research. We are now determined to work towards creating applications that would suit the needs of wider audience, so stay tuned.
